Author Biography

Earl Van Mumford

Earl Mumford was born in Lenoir County, NC on March 31, 1936. From his earliest moments art became his passion. He found a passion in cartooning that could not be relinquished. He left North Carolina with his bride, Geraldine, to study at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. His knowledge of design took him to the design departments of America’s largest companies over the next 37 years. He now draws for himself and, his readers, he feels that is best drawings are… his next ones!
