An Audience of One
Synopsis
An Audience of One is a roman a’ clef that will touch
you in your most personal dreams.
It is the story of what might happen if a Midwest American
Librarian is actually pursued by an International Rock and Roll Singing Superstar. In this “real fantasy,” the librarian writes to the rock star and he
actually wants to meet her. So begins a romance that moves from a small town restaurant and quiet lakeside cottage, to the halls of a recording
studio and the night of the Grammy Awards.
Their love blossoms in intimacy, warmth and happiness, while
his star rises higher and higher and she is swept along with him, yet never straying from her quiet roots. But as true stories are prone to do,
tragedy rears its devastating head.
